First pow in Mittelberg

wePowder predicted the first powder alert of the season. I pondered about glaciers and conditions in Tyrol, but decided to wait a bit and just check out a still closed Mittelberg ski resort in lower elevations. Mitteleberg is located few kilometers south from Oberstdorf towards Vorarlberg, Lech and St. Anton in Austria. Green grassy hills and 50 cm of powder. We had a chill out tour with a 5 year old in a tow rope. Also when coming down since there was just too much snow for him.

Winter has begun.
